Eoghan is our Practice Lead for Capital Markets, working mostly with clients in the capital markets and banking sectors. Eoghan supports clients with best execution, CASS and the reporting obligations that come with trading activity, including transaction reporting and EMIR reporting. He joined Bovill from a ‘Big Four’ firm, where he worked with the Regulatory and Financial Services Assurance teams. His experience includes:
• Regulatory due-diligence work for potential sales and acquisitions
• Transaction reporting health checks and remediation support
• S166 work in the CASS sphere
• Reviews of firms’ compliance with the best execution rules
• Handling authorisations for investment firms
Eoghan has a degree in History from the University of Cambridge.
