Adam Fairhead

Senior Adviser

Adam joined Bovill in October 2021 as a part-time Senior Adviser, after a 40 year career in Financial Services, predominantly in asset management. Adam’s last executive role was Chief Compliance Officer for HSBC Global Asset Management.

Earlier Adam held leadership roles in product development, including Global Head of Product Development for HSBC Global Asset Management, and Head of European Product Development for JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management.

He has spoken and panelled at conferences, and in 2006 he was a member of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Investment Market Efficiency, which made recommendation that led to the UCITS IV Directive. He also chaired the (then) Investment Management Association’s European Strategy Group.

Adam is Treasurer for two health sector charities, The 1930 Fund for District Nurses and the Gordon Moody Association. He is also an A level mathematics tutor and Oxbridge coach for The Access Project.

Adam has an M.A. in Mathematics from Oxford University.
