Joanne is a Principal Consultant specialising in SFC regulations for capital markets businesses. Before joining Bovill, she worked in the Regulatory Compliance team in one of the major investment banks in Hong Kong. She has also spent several years at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited’s Listing Division responsible for listing enforcement and IPO policies. Prior to that, Joanne had over 10 years’ experience working in three of the “Big 4” accounting firms in providing forensics and dispute advisory services and tax consulting services.
Joanne obtained her bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of London respectively. She is a member of both the Hong Kong and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She was born in Beijing and is a fluent speaker of Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
