Kaniz is a Principal Consultant specialised in prudential regulation risk and reporting, supporting investment firms and banks with advice and support on regulatory compliance.
Before joining Bovill, Kaniz worked as a Senior Policy Associate at the FCA, and as a Regulatory and Reward Policy Specialist at Macfarlanes LLP.
Her experience covers compliance and advisory activities, in particular for private equity firms and credit institutions. She has advised the implementation of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, the Investment Firms Prudential Regime, the Capital Requirements Regulation and Directive, conduct and governance regulations, remuneration codes and Brexit onshoring regulations. She also manages our Annex IV reporting offering for alternative investment fund managers in the UK and all EU member states,
Kaniz has also spent over four years working in international affairs including as a diplomat at the United Nations, Council of Europe and the European Parliament.
