Michael is an Associate in London specialising in financial crime. He supports clients across financial services, reviewing their financial crime controls including with risk assessments, assisting in skilled person reviews and carrying out remediation work.
Before joining Bovill, Michael worked as a Risk, Regulation and Compliance Consultant at a FTSE 250 consultancy firm. During this position, Michael completed a seven-week training course and was seconded to Lloyds Banking Group, where he worked as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst.
Graduating from University of Nottingham Law School, along with a vacation scheme and various legal work placements, Michael has a strong legal background which lends itself to the regulatory element of his current role.
