“We love solving difficult problems and making life easier for our clients. We pride ourselves on being honest, thorough, and nice people to deal with.”

Ben Blackett-Ord
Founder & Chief Executive

Bovill was founded in 1999 by Ben Blackett-Ord and began as a small but specialist firm of compliance consultants. Based in London, Bovill was built up on a solid foundation of long-term clients for whom we provide compliance advice.

Today Bovill is a global financial services regulatory consultancy with offices in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chicago and New York. We work with clients internationally on every element of regulation. We help firms build projects to respond to significant regulatory change, or give them peace of mind they’re doing the right thing.

We work with firms who are the focus of regulatory enforcement or scrutiny, as an adviser, and as a ‘skilled person’. We advise start-ups, investors and acquirers on how regulation has an impact on their strategy.  And we are still a trusted adviser when it comes to ongoing compliance advice: many of our clients have been with us for more than 10 years.

We are proud to have remained both highly technical and independent over the years, and have our founder Ben still at the helm.

Supporting others

We are proud to support local community initiatives and wider charitable work. We give our people the opportunity to suggest ideas for volunteering and fundraising and to get involved in Bovill-supported initiatives. We have had a long relationship with Young Futures, who provide supported housing and services to care leavers in London. At the moment we’re working on projects to help their current cohort of young people and to develop future best practice for care leavers. We also provide volunteer teams for local community initiatives – most recently Bee the change. We have also worked with UNHCR to help fundraising and with the Cure Parkinsons Trust in support of their Grouse and Grapes City Luncheons.
